Walk Details
March 23rd - (all scooters are now booked for Nicola, Morag and Pauline, but I can take a name for reserve places if someone is unable to come). I also recommend this for any able bodied walkers or if you can transport your own scooters.
It is a long journey of course but it is worth it for the quality of the tracks, the scenery and the chance to get away for a day trip out. It is somewhere we have spent a lot of time as a family and comes highly recommended.
Myself and Lucy will be going, so there are 3 more scooters available at Glenmore. We can take 2 passangers with us. Booking your place will be essential due to the 3 available scooters (lucy will take her own). Parking at Glenmore is £2. Travel is going to be about 3 and a half hours from broadford - each way. Planned stop at dingwall or Inverness. The cafe there is excellent for cakes but allow about £5 for cake and a hot chocolate, more if you need hot food. Accessible loos are there and for the rambling I will allow for between 1.5 hours and 4 hours depending on weather conditions. The trip day will be subject to changes if adverse weather is forecast because I do not want to put in all the time and effort if it is going to be 'foul'!
Phone me or Lucy on 01471844322 or colin.threlfall@btinternet.com to reserve your place.
