Sensory Play is all about.....just that! Sensory Play! Aimed at children to encourage play using senses and improving hand-eye co-ordination and to stimulate brain function and play whether it be to encourage, stimulate, relax or just to keep them busy. 

Sensory Play is also all about children and also adults with special needs and requirements. Our products have also been puchased for adults with Alzheimers to keep them calm and relaxed but to also stimulate their senses with something new.

Who is Minxy Moo?

Minxy Moo is Mandy Carr based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK and this is her nickname. She is a designer by trade amongst other things too and designing and creating is her passion. During her former designing years as a 3 dimensional product designer whereby products made for large companies which were recalled due to faullts or reccurring problems with the design Mandy was part of a team who would look into the problem, research and then come up with a new design for the large companies. Design is in her blood, and when the oppotunity came to do something about sensory play especially or children with Autism, Aspergers etc she jumped at the chance and is thoroughly enjoying it! She is constantly researching and creating new designs and products but needs the feedback from the parents and/or carers in order to fulfil designs to suit a wider audience so if you can help or are looking for something specific for your childs needs and senses please let her know by using the "ENQUIRIES" tab on the left.
