Save the Chickens

The British public are being fooled. You are being fooled. Those eggs that you’re eating, humanely farmed, aren’t they? That defenceless chicken you’re eating, humanely farmed, huh? You’re eating a happy chicken, right? Happy? Put that fork down and read. 

You’re being convinced that humanely farmed chickens run free, eat healthily and have the time of their lives before being slaughtered. They don’t.  And we have proof. Britain won’t be well known for its fresh humanely farmed chickens, once we show the devastating evidence that most farms that come under this so-called-brilliant industry are indeed battery farms.

What are battery farms exactly?

Battery farms do not allow chickens personal space. Not even enough space to turn three-hundred-and-sixty degrees. They probably wouldn’t want to either; their brittle legs would snap. The wire cages cause excruciating pain to our feathered friends. The defenceless chickens are de-beaked to avoid further damage to themselves, and other chickens, caused by the stress they are put under.They wouldn’t want their chemical filled birds to die before being slaughtered and sold, that wouldn’t be good for profit.

We interviewed our under-cover reporters Daniel and Travis about the horror they went through. They posed as two recently unemployed workers desperate for any kind of work. They used the false names of Josh and Spencer. They revealed exclusive pictures and information they gathered.
