2013 RACE CANCELLED - BACK IN 2014!

With great sorrow and reluctance we have taken the decision to cancel the 2013 Rye Triathlon.  This has been a very difficult decision to make but has unfortunately been unavoidable for a number of reasons.

Despite this we already have many exciting plans in the works for the 2014 Rye Tri, including a new and improved bike course and new race options. We are also delighted to announce that The George in Rye will be the headline sponsor of the event for 2014 and 2015.

Everyone who has entered the 2013 race has been contacted individually to arrange deferrals or refunds.  If you have entered and have not heard from us please contact us at natasha@greatoutdoorsevents.com. 

If you have sent a postal entry and have not received an email please contact us - there have been significant issues with the local Royal Mail office, which has meant that some entries sent to the PO Box have not been delivered to us but have been returned to the sender.  We only became aware of this when competitors contacted us to let us know.  We are currently trying to establish with Royal Mail what has happened.

The decision to cancel the 2013 event has not been lightly taken.  We are already looking forward to the 2014 event which will be back in the same stunning location.  The event not only offers a great day of racing for athletes of all abilities, but is also a fantastic setting for spectators and a great family day out in the beautiful Rye area.  If you would like to be notified when entries open later this year or if you require any information please e-mail us at natasha@greatoutdoorsevents.com.
