 Anstruther Club held a collection for Ukraine, outside the Co-Op store in Anstruther and then at Bowhouse. With a contribution from the club a total of £3,000 was donated.

Another collection was for the Turkey and Syria earthquake appeal and again £3,000 was donated for 'Shelterboxes'.

Welcome to our website. Our club came into existence on 25th July 1951 and is part of the international family of Rotary.

Rotary is for men and women who wish to serve their communities and who try to make a difference to the lives of others around the world, by giving of their time, knowledge and skills and by helping to raise funds in support of the many in need.

We are the world's largest service organisation for people of many backgrounds, having the most varied skills in every field of endeavour. People who take a lead in serving their communities. Rotary is made up of more than 1.2 million people, operating through some 32,000 clubs in 200 countries around the world. 

We are one of 90 clubs in our Rotary district, which covers a beautiful area from the northern shores of the Firth of Forth, to the Shetland Isles in the North, and the Hebrides in the West. It is where around 3,000 neighbours, friends and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders and take action to create lasting change. 

We are actively involved in local, national and international projects.  We offer practical and financial assistance - whichever is most needed and is most appropriate. On occasion we will offer both if we can. We also aim to make this FUN and as a club have an enjoyable social calendar.

Our members are committed to our local area and help and support many groups, organisations and community events. We have perhaps become best known for our 'Christmas Post' - a local Christmas card delivery service - now well past its 30th year. Our more recent Coastal Path Charity Walk mace 2023 its 13th year. 

The 'Covid years'were difficult for everyone and it is good to be able to look ahead to being able to do much more again. Just in financial terms we have generally been able to donate around £20,000 each year for individuals, groups and charities - local, national and international. 

We hope to use our skills and expertise to make a difference in our community by being TRUE in all that we do; being FAIR to everyone we deal with; offering GOODWILL and FRIENDSHIP and making sure that our actions are BENEFICIAL for everyone involved.
