Ammerdown Conference Centre,
Radstock Bath BA3 5SW
The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Energy Medicine (ACPEM) warmly invites all interested health care professionals and physiotherapy students to our 2012 conference held for the third year running in the wonderful Ammerdown Conference Centre. www.ammerdown-conference.co.uk
Due to the success of last year we are continuing our slightly longer programme of three nights and three full days. This allows time for personal rest as well as sharing and exchanging ideas at a fantastically low cost. The committee encourage you to book for the whole conference to gain maximum benefit. We are privileged to welcome four outstanding international speakers: two from abroad and two from the UK.
Bruce Robertson is the director of training and support at NES Health, a company based in Poole specialising in health and wellbeing through energy and information. His early background was in engineering technology, business studies and the aerospace industry. He has since studied many forms of oriental medicine and has been a principal trainer of energy medicine techniques to holistic practitioners since 1995. He will be keeping us up to date with the latest scientific approaches on the energy and information fields of the body and introducing the new miHealth, a hand held device designed to detect and restore any energy imbalances which are preventing optimum health. All participants will have the opportunity to experience the benefits of this extraordinary device. www.neshealth.com
Arielle Essex has discovered her own unique psychological tools for healing involving NLP, EI, Self Relations and Psychology of Vision and Purpose. She inspires people with her hard earned wisdom sharing the process that helped her recover from a brain tumour portrayed in the film ‘The Living Matrix’. Her workshop with us will offer practical approaches for exploring and transforming hidden issues that need to be resolved. Through insightful questioning, she will show us how we can help ourselves and our patients and focus on generating positive healing energy by addressing key factors that prevent full recovery. www.practicalmiracles.com
Steve Haines has been working in healthcare for over twenty years. His worldview has been shaped by advocacy in mental health, being around AIDS activism and his practice of yoga, meditation and skiing. He is continually inspired by the change that can happen through his practice of biodynamic Craniosacral therapy and TRE (Tension Releasing Exercises) which he studied with David Berceli. This TRE workshop, given jointly with Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni, will be a practical introduction to a remarkably simple series of exercises that take 10 minutes or so to practice that can release deep seated tension through gentle shaking. www.trelondon.com See also www.cranialintelligence.com
Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni is a scientific as well as a spiritual researcher. One of his many interests lies in uncovering the biological mechanisms by which traumas affect the mind-body. Riccardo holds a masters degree in biological sciences and a doctorate in neurophysiology, together with receiving two honorary achievements in his field. He has trained extensively in TRE with David Berceli and is also experienced in Biofeedback, Applied Kinesiology, Neuromodulation Technique and Medical Intuitive Training. Their joint workshop will be a fascinating and therapeutic must for us all. I can highly recommend it!
We will also be showing evening films on mind body medicine, have time for treatment swaps and to connect with friends old and new. We are re-running our Saturday Night Intuitive Fair, a fun place to encourage some mind and consciousness expansion for clinical excellence and personal well being.
