Bob has once again come out of retirement to play for the Choppers, having done so both up front and in midfield. Is aiming to make it past the halfway mark this season.

Iain Cameron

Proof that you don't have to be fit to play football, 'The Cat' plays between the sticks when Minters is unavailable. A converted right back, Iain was awarded the 2008 trophy for services to the Choppers.

Brian Cooke

The Choppers very own Usain Bolt, Cooke brings pace and power up front. The Club Treasurer pledged to grow his hair until we lose. Wonder how long that will be....

CF | Ricky Cooper
Ricky Cooper

David Gallacher

One half of the Choppers formidable centre of defence. Dav is best known for his 'no nonsense' attitude and crunching tackles. Has been known to use 'The Hand of God' when keeping the opposition from scoring.

Scott Gardner

One of our Turkish Internationals, Scott is looking to make an impact this season after putting in the hours in pre-season. Ever reliable to produce the goods, when the Choppers need him. 2nd hairiest player.

Jamie Mackenzie

The left-back with the right foot, Jamie has been solid in his defensive role. Last season was ended early through injury, with his brand new boots going in the bin, after only one game.

Duncan MacLellan

Henry is a model professional, with all the attributes of a standout utility player. Comfortable at the back or in midfield. Everyone remembers 'that goal'.

Brian Macleod

The kind of defender who generally avoids the physical side of the game, older brother of Ross but more importantly 'the Gaffer', his management style has been likened to that of Brian Clough.... at Leeds Utd.
more details
Ross Macleod

Rossco rarely loses his temper, as is evident from his immaculate yellow card record. Left sided midfielder and younger brother of Brian, was the only ever present last season. Scorer of 'Le Tissier-esque' goals.

Gary Macleod

The Choppers diminutive stopper, is already upholding the long tradition in the amateur league of the Macleod surname, by collecting cards like they're going out of fashion.

Nathan McLaughlan

The Captain. Player of The Year for 2008 and dominant centre half, Nath is best known for his flowing locks and mild manner. Runner up in 2008 Goal of the Season. Never wears the same hair accessory twice. Fact.

James Morrison

Last seasons Golden boot, goal of the season and third place in Player of The Year, Jamsie is looking to add more goals to his impressive strike rate of 16 goals in 21 starts. The quiet man on the pitch lets his boots do the talking.

Stuart Morrison

A veteran Choppers campaigner, academic commitments have caused him to miss the first half of the 2009 season. Known to try his luck from just about anywhere on the park, has played in midfield and defence.
more details
Tony O'Rourke

Creative midfielder and dead ball specialist, Tony has overcome injury to make the start of the season. Will look to continue 2008's title of highest scoring midfielder into the new season.

CM | Matthew Rigg
Matthew Rigg

A new signing for the 2009 season, we were hoping to get Murtaugh as well. Already shown his ability in midfield and defence.
Greg Ross

A product of the Choppers youth scheme, played well when called upon last season. Questionable relationship with 'the Cat' aside, looks to be an important defender with the Choppers this season.
more details
Dave Stephens

Another to come through the youth set up and the second of our resident Turks. Hairier than a barbers floor, Dave is looking to make an early impact after showing good promise in pre-season. Partial to occasional simulation.
