Thank you

A very big thank you from the Orkney Farmer team to the  advertisers, farmers and the whole population of Orkney for the support we have received in the production of the magazine. We have had texts, emails, letters, phone calls (even one  from Aberdeenshire) and of course the Orkney classic, which makes Orkney so unique, being stopped on the "street" congratulating us on Orkney Farmer. 

We are now working on issue 2 of Orkney Farmer and have two exclusive stories and a new regular feature which will appeal to all the farmers, young and old.

If you have any ideas you would like to see being included in Orkney Farmer contact us either via email, phone or stop us on the "street".

We would love to hear from you on what you think of Orkney Farmer - good, bad or indifferent as long as it is constructive we will take heed.

As this is the "World Wide Web" we want to hear from farmers from other parts of the world so that we can compare notes between Orkney farmers and say for instance American farmers. So farmers, whereever you are in the world, drop us an email and see what we can learn from each other.

I have now mastered the skill of uploading a pdf of Orkney Farmer to the Orkney Farmer website. So if you click on the tab to the left "Orkney Farmer Download" this will reveal the wonders of farming in Orkney. It is packed full of articles and loads of informative adverts for you to read.
