Apart from your house, a pension is one of the major considerations in your lifetime.

This website looks at pension providers, including many used by various companies for their workforce.  It also covers issues that have arisen with some schemes.

An employers pension scheme is generally covered by contributions by both the employer and the employee.

It is up to a self employed person to arrange a personal pension plan with one of the pension providers that are available.

Details of the Govenment's new pension scheme is listed in the menu, as is the age when it comes into fruitition.  An employers pension scheme is supplementary to the Govenment's pension as is any private pension taken out by a self-employed pension or an additional one you may set up.  A list of private pension firms are given in the menu.

Also included in the menu is information from Money Which? relating to pensions. Money Which? is published by the Consumers Association and provides an indepentant look at pensions.
