I chose Berber Trek because Georgina was so immediately responsive and helpful. She designed an individual itinerary that met my timeline and objectives and answered all my endless questions. My guide, Omar, was enthusiastic, flexible and creative. He was able to design and implement Plan B when Plan A was not going to work and his ability to speak Berber, Arabic and English meant that we could interact with all the citizens we met on the hikes. My driver, Hallid, was a model of safe driving so I rarely had to grab at the arm rests! Mohammed, the muleteer and cook, made a mean tajeen and altogether I felt well cared for. The sand in the Sahara was like golden silk but riding a camel down the dunes is no joke! Altogether it was a brilliant tripand I hope you chose to enjoy it.

Just a little word to tell you that we had a wonderful week-end in Merzouga. Abderhaman was really super. The two days on the road with him were really pleasant and he was always there for us. The camel driver and the two guys at the camp site were extremely kind, it was great to meet them (it helped that my partner speaks Arabic!!)
The pool was an excellent add-on to the overall experience.

Dear Georgina,

We had a wonderful week in Marrakesh. Our guide, Abdel, looked after us so well, and he gave us so much interesting information about the places we visited. He was very helpful in answering our questions, and gave us plenty of time to absorb our surroundings. Also, he took us to such a variety of places to have our lunches, and was very reassuring that we were eating in good. safe places. He was very amusing and charming, aswell as hospitable. Yaseen, our driver was very considerate, and took care of us when we travelled in his car. Both of them were such good examples of lovely Moroccan people. The riad too, was beautiful, run by such a lovely young Italian couple. It was clean and beautiful, and because it was small, had a family atmosphere about it. It was so nice to be in the Medina, and we quickly found our way around. I saw historical Islamic gardens, which were very interesting, some of which I'd visited before, and the aromatic garden was a lovely surprise. I feel as if I have so much more understanding of Islamic gardens now. It all went so well, and it was lovely for my friend, Bunty, a childhood friend, to see what I was going on about when talking about Morocco, and because it all went so well, she was able to appreciate a new experience confidently.

Thank you so much for all your careful organisation, and finding us such good places and people.

Berber Treks is flat-out unbeatable! I am a professor at the University of Washington and I took a group of 16 students to Morocco. I took bids from multiple agencies and Berber Treks came in 2nd lowest -- far lower than the rest of the pack.

I had great pressure from the university to go with the lowest but I had this feeling: Berber Treks was so incredibly *responsive*. I had this feeling in my gut and went with them.

I'm so happy I did!!!

Not only do they give you immediate answers, they are incredibly flexible. As well, the only time we had accommodations that were not wonderful were when...we chose them. Anything chosen by Berber Treks was awesome.

And in the midst of this, they are not cheap. They did not try to nickel and dime us.

On top of it, their guides are absolutely the best as well. Berbers who can speak virtually all languages needed and who do city tours that simply cannot be matched.

I would absolutely recommend Berber Treks!!!
