Duke of Edinburgh's award accredited expedition assessor - Georgina Talfana

I am an accredited Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Expedition Assessor. I can assess bronze, silver and gold expeditions all over the UK and overseas.

I work on a freelance basis and am willing to travel to the expedition location of your choice. As included in the role of an expedition assessor I will come to meet your group before departing for your expedition and I will also check your expedition equipment, to make sure that you fulfill the 20 Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition conditions. Please note that you require an AALA license for trekking over 600m in the UK.

This award is excellent for developing personal and social skills and I would recommend it for all young people. I particularly enjoy teaching the necessary skills such as navigation, first aid and campcraft and then slowly standing back so that the young people can be in charge of their own expedition.
