Ait Bougamez "Happy Valley" trek
The Ait Bougamez "Happy Valley" trek is the perfect way to combine culture and moderate low level trekking. Your tour begins in Marrakesh where you will be guided around the sights and palaces of the old medina. After an interesting transfer to the Ait Bougamez valley your trek begins through Berber villages and orchards. You will also encounter dinosaur foot prints on your trek and a visit to the Cascades de Ouzoud on your return journey to Marrakech.

Staying overnight in gites (basic dormitories) and camping in 2 man tents. Trekking with a day pack to a different camp everyday. Main luggage is portaged by mules. All meals provided whilst on trek by our expedition cook. Trek led by qualified Moroccan guide who speaks English fluently.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Marrakesh airport, transfer to hotel, rest of the day free in Marrakesh. Hotel included, meals at own expense
Day 2: Half day guided city tour in Marrakesh. Hotel and breakfast included
Day 3: Transfer to Ait Bougamez "Happy Valley" (6 hours) Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 4: Trek from Agouti to Rbat, 6 hours trekking - visit dinosaur footprints. Camping, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 5: Trek from Rbat to Ifrane, 6 hours trekking. Camping, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 6: Trek from Ifrane to Agouti, 6 hours trekking. Gite, breakfast, lunch & dinner included
Day 7: Transfer back to Marrakesh (6 hours) visit Cascades d'Ouzoud enroute. Hotel, breakfast and lunch included
Day 8: Depart for UK. Breakfast only included
Price includes: meals as above, cook, transfers to and from airport, transfers to and from trek, camping equipment, campsite fees, 3 nights accommodation in 3* hotel in Marrakech, 2 nights accommodation in gite (basic dormitory accommodation), english speaking local guide, mules and muleteers, drinking water on trek, half day city tour in Marrakesh.
