MIOL Mission StatementMIOL encourages Outdoor Learning by developing quality, safety and opportunity to experience outdoor activity provision and by supporting and enhancing the good practice of those who work in the outdoors. MIOL provides World Class Adventure Activity Outdoor Learning based programmes for the advancement of Mongolians, both in the professional tourism sector and for defined ‘at risk’ groups’. MIOL will perform this by utilising existing skill groups as well as developing new core competencies, based on UK and International Standards. MIOL ‘Creating better people’ & ‘Helping Mongolians to help themselves’ What MIOL does:- By representing and lobbying on behalf of our members, both organisational and individuals, and the outdoor education and tourism / recreation sector we can help ensure the development and progression of outdoor learning. MIOL supports your work and career whether you are a professional outdoor practitioner, field study officer, instructor, teacher, youth worker, outdoor leader, management development trainer, student or anyone involved in learning outdoors. Whether you enjoy recreation, expeditions, bush-craft, adventure, therapy, teaching or learning in the mountains, hills or wilderness, on water or land, in rural or urban areas, there will be benefits to you to visit our web site and to become an active member.
