NORTHERN LIGHT STAINED GLASS

 My name is Mark Stevens. I live in Evanton, a pretty village in the Scottish Highlands.

   I was brought up to the Highlands from North Wales in 1966 when my Father Eric Stevens started a firm in Inverness with a grant from the Highlands and Islands development Board. The factory on the Longman employed young women who tied trout and salmon fishing flies. I went to school at Inverness Royal Academy. On my 18th birthday I joined the RAF. Then welded oil rigs - see welding- and then studied Metalwork at the London Institute 1983 -87. Worked there as the studio technician from 1989 to 2001. Back to the glorious Highlands to start a new life. I have a Daughter, beautiful Tabitha who is in her teens.
