Simply Sublime Seafood

We are now closed at the end of our season.  Re-opening in 2016 - date to be confirmed.  We very much hope that we shall have the pleasure of welcoming you to the restaurant during 2016.

The restaurant is very small, only seven tables and so if you know you would like to come and dine with us, please book to avoid disappointment.  We start taking bookings for 2016 in mid January.

The restaurant is a tiny, intimate and atmospheric bistro situated in the historic village of Stein, on the shores of Loch Bay, with fabulous views over to the Outer Isles.  It is must for anybody who loves fish and shellfish.

Our ethos is simplicity with wonderful fresh produce predominantly locally sourced.  Our lobsters, oysters and prawns are kept in our own seawater tanks.

For many years Loch Bay has been one of very few eateries on Skye to be featured in all the main gastronomic guides: The AA – 1 Rosette, Michelin, Good Food Guide,we have an Award for Excellence from Scotland the Best, and Certificates for Excellence from Trip Advisor.
