Education researchers produce explanations within the disciplines of education such as the philosophy, psychology, sociology, history of education and the fields of education such as the leadership, management, administration economics and theology of education.

Educational researchers produce valid explanations for the educational influences in learning of individuals in their own learning, in the learning of others and in the learning of the social formations in which they live, work and research.
