Nadine has used this as a basis for her series of talks, “Skeletons in the cupboard”. Although the family name of De Brassey is fictitious, the incidents and history is very real and has been thoroughly researched.

The characters are all based on real people who did exist, only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
