About me
I am a housewife, who, now her son has left home, is turning her hobby of acting into a full-time profession. I can sing, dance (with special skill in ballroom and latin-american dance), operate puppets, and can learn lines and songs very quickly (possessing a near-photographic memory).
My previous jobs have included Nursery School Teacher; Census Enumerator; Army Company Clerk; Travel Agency Secretary; Local Newspaper Archivist; Shop Supervisor; Dance Teacher; Cheriton Carnival Association Press and Public Relations Officer; and Usherette.
Some of my skills include Photography (national prize-winning and exhibited photographer, with full professional digital and 35mm SLR camera equipment); Puppetry; Typing (to RSA Stage 3) and Word Processing (to Pitman's Masterclass); Red Cross trained First Aider; Choral singing performances; Can sew and sketch to a high standard; and I have some experience in dog handling and training, being the proud owner of a well-trained wired-haired, tri-coloured, Parson (Jack Russell) Terrier.
I also have a great deal of backstage experience including costume-making, set building and decorating, make-up, lighting, and stills photography. I am fully-available at all times, can cry on cue, and can be called on set at a moment's notice.
