Welcome to our website.
We hope we have kept it simple but informative. We are a well established mountaineering club based in Inverness in the Highlands. The Club was established in 1950 by like-minded folk to promote the enjoyment of the Scottish Hills. We currently have over 90 members and we welcome people of all ages and of many interests. Don't be put off by the word 'mountaineering'. In some folk this evokes ideas of hanging from ropes and clinging to a cliff face but there's more to us than that. We do have many climbers, mountaineers and hill walkers but we also have members who partake in many other activities as well, such as mountain biking, cycling, canoeing/kayaking, downhill skiing and ski touring and believe it or not, caving.
So come and join us for a drink at the Corriegarth Hotel, Heathmount Road, Inverness. We're a social bunch and normally around 15 - 30 members come along on Thursdays from 9.30 pm onwards.
Hope to see you soon.
