Saturday, 14 September 2024Come along to our beach pebble event to learn more about geology and environment at Rosemarkie. Every pebble can tell a story and our geologists will help you discover the different types of pebble, where they came from, and what they tell us about Scotland’s geology. A Countryside Ranger will help you to understand the environment at Rosemarkie. This event is free, and no booking is needed. Why not bring along your favourite rock for identification? Please dress for the weather. Warm clothing and strong footwear advised. The event takes place by the beach café. Access to the beach is via a step/ramp and a walk over sand and pebbles. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
