From subtle ambiant background music to a party atmosphere, there is nothing like a live musician to make your occasion or establishment special.

I am Guy Porteous and I have been entertaining audiences both in the corporate sector, weddings, private functions and special occasions for over 25 years. 

For a musician there is no greater pleasure than to see people enjoying the music they play.  My ethos has always been to ensure that each and every occasion leaves my clients completely satisfied.  Whether subtle solo piano blending into the background or with my trio / quartet, I also do piano vocals which I feel gives an addition and variation to the day...providing a large variety of styles, from romantic popular ballads to swing,light jazz and popular pops.  I aim to create the perfect mood for your special day.

I am based in the North West of England and play venues and events around the whole of the North West, including, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Liverpool and the South Lakes.

Of course, should you wish me to venture further afield to play at your venue, or to play on your special day then please contact me.

My appearances are a mixture of weddings, corporate events, birthday / anniversary celebrations and also providing dinner music for hotels and restaurants.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtime at Olympus restaurant,Bolton.

Thursday,Friday night and Sunday afternoon at Provenance Westhoughton.

Regular Sunday lunchtimes and Thursday 5-7pm at Housing units of Hollinwood.
