Welcome to the GlenmutchkinPatron - The Laird o'Glenmutchkin The Glenmutchkin Light Railway is a Live Steam Garden Railway built to a scale of 16mm to one foot which depicts a fictional 2 foot gauge railway located somewhere in the West Highlands of Scotland. You can read a bit more about the fictional history of the line by clicking the History of the GLR tab on the left of this page. In the real world the line consists of a single track circuit with a passing station (Inverstarve) and a short branch line leading to the site for the, as yet undeveloped, Glenmutchkin terminus station. Some brief technical details are listed on the Technical Stuff page. Our photo Gallery has a small selection of pictures taken on and around the line as well as one or two from the real world of narrow gauge railways. Watch for future developments.
