Glenmore Cross Country Piste Machine
In the winter, the Glenmore Cross Country Piste Machine cuts cross country ski tracks, snow permitting, through the Glenmore Forest, near Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. To see a map of where the tracks are cut click on the link below:
The Glenmore Cross Country Piste Machine is owned and operated by the Glenmore Piste Charity. The machine is operated by a volunteer management group made up of cross country ski enthusiasts. The cost of fuel, maintenance, insurance and administration is covered by donations from those that enjoy the tracks in the winter and the wider cross country ski community.
