Background Info
I, Margaret Alicia Gage-Forrester, author of these collection of poetic literature, Following In His Footsteps" came from a family of writers, poets who demonstrated their every feelings, through literaric expressions.
My grandfather , Thomas J Gage wrote books of detective creative imaginations and inspired trajectory on biblical analytic insight along with mountain of poetic words. He always trusted my judgement to perceive his trend of thought to be able to finish some of his own poet lines. I feel the weight as I was made to recognise the awesome responsibility of his (2) two hands being laid on my shoulders.
My mother, M Sonia (Gage) Cabey also wrote a body of poetic literature. The one that inspired me most from her collection was Persistent Woman. Her word to me was "Let it Out". Her articulation of poetry also appeased many audiences.
My son, Wilston Jordain Johnson aka Outlaw the Artist from a young age was compiling words in poetic rhythms. When asked at 2 years old what is uour grandmother's name, he said, "Sonia Junia" as he was riming away.
In Primary and Second school his poetic form was recognised as he wrote and articlulated his own work at concerts and other presemtation moments.
Today he has channeled his energy and writings of poetry into Rapping and R&B musical genre. But the foundation of artform is derived from his God given ability through generational heritage to create poetry.
How I write:
I am not a strong conventional English person, however, at the beat of inspired thoughts, God has given me the gift to write expressively words that consummate the outward explicit view or an inward implicit thought. In some cased the words drop into my spirit and I record them collectively in forms of poetry or literary writing. Here I present to you a compilation of my explicit literation of poetic expressions which I collectively entitled, "Following In His Footsteps".
I write as I am inspired most times, not necessarily on assignment. Sometimes, the writings are just stress busters. The words sometimes come deeply and can be harsher than my normal way but this is usually the way my expressions burst forth – more like a message, sometimes in the form of songs or just a prayer.
My Poetic expressions are an insight into the outward expressions from an analytically thinking mind. One who spend time visualizing, analyzing, calculating, pondering and extrapolating from events both physical and spiritual to derive by words, phrases, statements and inspired poetic lines.
An expression is just the output work from someone’s mind to paper, computer screen and audio or visual media. Liberation Through Artistic Expressions. Implicit inside knowledge exposed to the explicit outward demonstration of an artistic expressive form to engage the mind of the readers... One would appreciate the critical analyzes, the positive impact on the reader and or comments, suggestions and donations on the work they the exhibit. Over the years I have engaged in compilation of amalgamated expressions on varied situations.
Following In His Footsteps is an amalgamation of my literary poetic work written and collected over a period of time.
Expressing one’s self in the world of internet is of importance. The internet is a medium that opens communication, business exposure, and financial benefits as well as fantastic opportunities to express and share information to a wide audience.
