Welcome to the website for the friends of Dyffryn Woods and surrounding woodlands

This website, launched in September 2011, aims to be complementary to the official Woodland Trust website in order to give you information about what is happening in the woodlands in the Dyffryn-Bryncoch area with words and pictures.

This website intends to be a documentary record of the Dyffryn-Bryncoch woodland and, hopefully, help the local authorities to monitor and safeguard a cherrished area.   It is meant to be positive and constuctive.  Feedback from residents is most welcome.

Featured, in particular, is the woodland shown below with a black arrow.   It is an area of special interest to the Bryncoch Environment Group.
