Daisy
Really attractive, modern and well-equipped house with a very pleasant pool area. The village is very pretty with several very good and reasonable tavernas. Lovely green and fertile area around the village. The near-by beach is beautiful with free sun-beds and umbrellas as well as tavernas for drinks and gorgeous lunches! Paul and Angie are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the house and the area. Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing holiday in an authentic, friendly Greek village. Adopted cat a bonus!!

The idyllic holiday
We are about to leave what has become our most favoured holiday resort. We always completely unwind from the turmoil of work/family life. We now feel like part of the family in this gorgeous authentic village. Daisy is like home from home, everything you need is right here. If it is not here Paul and Angie (service managers) are always to hand to assist. Nothing is too much trouble for them.Daisy is kept to an immaculate standard. The only problem is we never want to leave. We will hopefully be back very soon.Thank you so much for allowing us to share this beautiful home (Sept 2013)

Visited Daisy in Sept 2013 and trying to juggle busy life to go back in 2014 to recharge our batteries. Very wonderful romantic holiday for both of us. Angie and Paul on 'tap' to help any time you need them (local info invaluable) 2 hour lunches at Georges to watch world go by highly recommended (home made salads/food cooked by Eva to die for) Daisy is a little gem tucked away making a little dream come true.

Daisy visit May 2012
We had a great time. "Daisy" is a wonderful place to stay. Extremely well furnished and very well equipped. We loved the pool and the little back garden was a great place to finish off the day. I have already recommended Daisy to my friends. We loved Fodele and will undoubtedly be returning either next year or the year after. Many thanks and best wishes

our visit to Daisy in April 2012
I would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay in Daisy. The villa is beautiful and we had fantastic weather. Paul was really helpful and we loved the village and Smoothie George's restaurant. We are already thinking we would like to go back.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

DAISY - We're going back again!
Daisy is an ideal, spotlessly clean, well maintained, lovely furnished apartment. It is ideally placed, so that you just walk over a lovely little river and you are in the village which is quiet, uncommercialised and extremely friendly. Paul &/or Angie will meet and greet you and help with anything from replacing a light bulb, to helping you choose a boat trip.

We hired a car and visited some lovely places (you don't have to go far). We also visited some lovely local places by foot, such as the monastary/nature trails etc. The beach is 3km away and very quiet - a pleasure to sit there late afternoon, with a G & T, feeling like Shirley Valentine.

We loved the fact that it was a working village, with farms nearby, the sound of cockerells, peacocks and the like all making you feel very Cretan.

The pool area is kept well maintained daily and the hot pool/jacuzzi is welcome too. It is not a busy complex at all - I usually avoid pool areas like the plague, but found myself sitting there most afternoons for the last of the sun and a quick dip, as the most people round the pool was usually 6 of us.

The apartment has a balcony front and back, so you can choose shade or sun depending on your preference -the garden too is compact and perfect - we chose to have breakfast on our balcony (though it was a bit too hot by 9.30am [May] - no complaining there though) and our lunch in the shaded garden. I usually cook a bit too when self catering, but the prices were so good and the food so delicious locally, that we ate out for the whole week.

We are going back in September and if the sun shines as much then, I know we'll have another week to remember.
