"Culbokie to Chipata" is the website of Anne Mason, Gordon Urquhart, Heather Urquhart and Kay Urquhart in Chipata, Zambia.

They left Culbokie in The Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland, in December  in order to travel to Chipata. Anne is working as a voluntary Teacher of Nursing in the Chipata School of Nursing.

Here, in the tropical sun, they will face many challenges and enjoy many adventures, far removed from their cooler equine-led existance in Ross-shire.

We will be giving news, putting up photos, offering opinions and keeping you up to date with our news from our temporary home under African skies.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us, and is supporting us, on this venture. We continue to appreciate it.

Half way up the track to home The girls indicate our house and garden. We have a steep walk up this hill at least once a day. We have also been told that it is a snake haven and not to go out after dark.
