Charleston Designs - Therapies for Thomas
We are a small family craft and art enterprise based in Charleston, North Kessock which is on the Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland producing a range of unique hand made and hand painted items which make very acceptable gifts and presents.
All profits made from the sale of the hand made items featured on this site go towards paying for therapies for our grandson Thomas (age 4) who was born with Holoprosencephaly - a rare brain disorder.
All items have been made by Neil Tuckwell.
Neil has also written a book which recounts his experiences and challenges as a pioneer in bringing television to the residents of remote and beautiful areas of the Highlands.
The book entitled My Highland Workshop has now been published and is also available for purchase on the site.
Please browse the various pages of the site which list all the different items which Neil makes. We hope you like them and should you wish to purchase anything, we have set up a simple and secure Paypal payment facility which allows purchases to be made using credit cards or through a Paypal account if you have one.
