This website will hopefully be useful to anyone setting up a charity and for those with no children who wish to will their money to a worthy cause.

Many charities seek monthly contributions, however, some unfortunately pass (sell?) the details of their contributors on to other charities resulting in spam mail or phone calls. If you do decide to make regular (or even a one-off) contribution you should make it clear that you don't want your details passed on to any third party. Besides, you have the right under the Data Protection Act to have your details kept confidential.
