Welcome to Canna Primary School
Canna Primary is a non-denominational school serving the children of the Islands of Canna and Sanday. It provides equal opportunities for all pupils regardless of race, gender, class or ability and promotes understanding and respect for other people’s cultural identity and beliefs.
Children attend the school from P1-P7. Secondary education is at Mallaig High School. Children from Canna board in the High School hostel and return home every other weekend and holidays.
The school is situated on Sanday and has amazing views across Canna to the Skye Cullins.
The school roll is currently (May 2014) 3. The children are taught in two classrooms and have access to a lovely, large grassed playground complete with climbing frame, swings and slide.
