Brixworth Residents Against New Estates

BRANE was formed by 124 Brixworth Residents concerned about the possibilty of further houses being built on the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside surrounding the village (see images below). In the last 4 years over 260 dwellings have been approved on infill sites and on the southern edge of this ancient village.
Some improvements to the  infrastructure have been obtained thanks to the efforts of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group but we must prevent further urbanisation of the countryside to the south and west of the village and to preserve the very village life that attracts so many people to live here.
