   Every table lamp is basically the same, a base with the light bulb fixed to
   the top of it and a shade to cover it, it hasn't really evolved that far
   since the early days of electricity.  It doesn't have to be that way.  We
   designed hollow so that the shade is the base and the base is the shade so
   the while piece shines.  This makes hollow pretty versatile, it can stand on
   its edge or lie on its side and where it fits it can even hang off a hook.
   Hollow beautifully encases the energy saver bulb inside and casts a
   comfortable light all around without needing a huge amount of material and
   energy to do it. Clean, simple, fun.
