How to apply for a BARTG award

Applying for one of our awards is quite simple. Below we list a few rules to help you, and to speed the process up.

We accept Award payment in Sterling cheques, US Dollars or Euros. We also accept payment by PayPal. We can no longer accept IRCs.

For proof of contacts, we will accept the following:

• Photocopies of the QSL cards (so you don't need to post those precious cards!)
• A log extract, which MUST be signed by TWO officials of a recognised club. This could be your local club, but it should be affiliated to a national society, eg RSGB or ARRL.
• A log extract from a BARTG contest. In this case, contacts will be verified with our contest manager.

When applying for an award, please download, complete and forward both the following: BARTG Award Application Form, and, Callsign List.

On the application form, we need the following information: 

• Type of award you are applying for
• Whether you are applying for an update to an existing award (if so, please give award number where applicable)
• Your name as you want it to appear on the certificate, plus your callsign
• Your postal address
• An email address if you have one

When listing the callsigns you are claiming, please list them in DXCC Country order. The list should contain the following:

Callsign; Country; Date; Time; Band; Mode.

Please ensure that every page has the signatories of the two log checkers, where applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: we do NOT accept SWL cards as proof of contact with a DXCC entity.

Your award(s) will be endorsed as SINGLE MODE or SINGLE BAND where applicable.

Application can also be made by scanning the relevant pages and emailing to the awards manager, making payment via the PAYPAL/ DONATIONS page.
