Welcome to Ballicherry Farm

Ballicherry Farm is a mixed farm based on the Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland. The farm is run by Brian and Caroline Matheson, together with their daughter Rachel Young.

The farm grows spring barley for both malting and seed, wheat and oilseed rape and has a flock of 170 ewes. Ballicherry Farm Contracting Ltd is also run from the farm by Brian, Caroline and Rachel, and undertakes a wide variety of agricultural contracting work throughout the year.

Along with farming and contracting, Ballicherry is also home to a Farm to Work Ltd which is a social farming project offering vocational rehabilitation to people with mental illness and learning disabilities.
