Avila is a welcome place for people who wish to take time out to renew their lives and enrich their creativity through the many opportunities offered at the centre.

 Inspired by the spirituality of Teresa of Avila, the Discalced Carmelites, a religious community resident at Avila, in collaboration with the Avila team facilitate various retreats, workshops, as well as biblical and Carmelite spirituality programmes. Other professionals use Avila as their venue of choice for conferences and meetings in Dublin.

 In the peace, beauty and relaxed atmosphere of Avila, the Avila team invite you to come away for a quiet time, or experience one of our programmes on biblical and Carmelite Spirituality. You are welcome to come for a time of reflection, prayer and peace; a space to be.
