Aos is a constituted arts group based in Skye and Lochalsh. Our aim is to work with other arts bodies in building and maintaining a healthy, viable and strong arts community in the area.

We see our contribution as being incremental and organic, slowly building, consolidating, or extending with each new venture. It is our view that creative development must be carefully nurtured and supported, in tandem with the gradual cultivation of a local audience that is receptive and engaged with the visual arts. We are aware that this takes time, effort and commitment.

We fully believe that art is a force which can connect and galvanise all parts of a community and has the power to transform lives.
