There are many great free open source programs out there which can save you lots of expense, especially when starting a new business.

Photoshop CS5 is now over £1200, although it is a great program, Gimp is a good free alternative to it.

I have put together a collection of free software alternatives to many major programs such as Microsoft Office that I use, available for you to download.
