Welcome to Great Busby Parish Meeting website
Great Busby Parish runs from the top of Busby Moor in the Cleveland Hills to the River Leven. It is an agricultural area with the small hamlet of Great Busby at its centre. Because of the small number of residents we have a Parish Meeting rather than a Parish Council.
Parish Meetings
We aim to hold three or four meetings each year to discuss matters affecting the Parish and also to provide an opportunity for residents to meet up and keep in touch. All residents may attend and take part in Parish Meetings which are also open to members of the public. Meetings are held in Carlton in Cleveland Village Hall and notices of meetings and other information are posted on the barn door at Busby Farm and/or on the notice board at the entrance of Elhams Market Garden.
The Parish Meeting has a Chair and currently a vacancy for a Clerk who are elected once a year and can be contacted about anything to do with the Parish:
